PG-130 PLASMAGUN WITH EXTERNAL POWDER INJECTION NOW SELECT THE WAY YOU SPRAY
Using the Bay State PG-130 PlasmaGun you now have many choices in the method of powder introduction.
You can use the time-proven, efficient and economical standard selection of PlasmaGun nozzles or, for greater diversification in coating application, materials can be introduced externally in a variety of configurations. The superior design of the PlasmaGun allows for transition from internal to external powder injection with relative ease.
Internal Powder Injection
For over forty years, using principally argon as a plasma forming gas, PG-Series PlasmaGuns have been applying coatings using boundary layer control, sheath stabilization and internal
powder injection. Using Bay State developed parameters and the PG-Series PlasmaGun you can produce the high quality coatings demanded by today's rigid standards.
External Powder Injection
By the addition of a new series of nozzles developed for higher power levels and increased gas flows using argon and/or nitrogen gas mixtures, similar results can be achieved.
If for operator familiarity or parameter standardization you choose to introduce materials externally, the PG-130 PlasmaGun with its superior lightweight design, adjustable/reusable cathode and economically priced anodes, allows you to do so.
PG-130 or PG-120 Conversion
The PG-130 PlasmaGun is completely converted having necessary standard parts removed and the following items installed.
Existing PG-120 PlasmaGuns may be converted by addition of the following items:
